Job summary

Champneys in Tring is hiring for a full-time Food & Beverage role. You will deliver consistent service, be courteous and professional, and help drive sales while representing the Champneys brand.

You will assist the F&B team with daily operations, supervise staff, and ensure dietary requirements are communicated and followed. A passion for wellness and guest experience is essential.

Qualifications

• Experience in food & beverage service within luxury hospitality.
• Ability to supervise staff and manage daily service.
• Knowledge of menus and dietary requirements.

Responsibilities

• Assist in day-to-day running of the department and brief the team on guests, bookings and menus.
• Maintain high standards of service in restaurant areas.
• Supervise and assign tasks to ensure daily cleaning and presentation of service areas and equipment.
• Conduct pre-service briefings with senior chef and check daily menus.
• Ensure dietary sheets are provided for guests with specific requirements.
• Support F&B assistants with training and supervise services.
• Document all sales and forward room charge receipts to front of house guest accounts.
• Ensure staff have knowledge of nutrition and adhere to dietary policies.
• Know guest dietary requirements and inform staff accordingly.

Contract: Full Time
Salary: £13.50 per hour plus gratuities

Our Food and Beverage teams have a complete working knowledge of the menus, menu ingredients and what is available for that day.

In this role you will provide consistent levels of excellent service, you will be courteous, professional, and have a passion for what we do. You will help to drive sales within the F&B department while being an ambassador for Champneys.

Some duties and responsibilities include;

• You will assist in the day-to-day running of the department and ensuring your team are fully briefed on the day’s guests, bookings and food offerings.
• In conjunction with the F&B Senior Team you will be responsible for maintaining high standards of professional service at all times in the restaurant areas.
• To supervise and assign tasks to ensure the completion of the daily cleaning of the restaurants, service areas and equipment. To ensure a high level of presentation.
• To assist / perform pre-service briefings, and check daily menus with the senior chef on duty.
• To ensure dietary sheets are provided for guests with specific requirements
• To support F&B Assistants with training and also to supervise services
• Responsible for documenting all sales and forward all room charge receipts to front of house team to be filed in guest accounts.
• Ensuring all service staff had a good knowledge of nutrition and adhere to dietary policies.
• To know and understand guests’ dietary requirements and ensure all restaurant staff are informed and understand.
