Job summary

The National Trust is seeking a Food and Beverage Assistant Manager to cover a fixed-term maternity leave. Based in Dunstable, you will work 37.5 hours per week and earn £29,000 per annum.

The role focuses on maintaining high service standards across outlets and leading a team, with mentoring and training opportunities. You will support the Food and Beverage Manager, drive income and control costs, and ensure compliance with health and safety and NT policies.

Qualifications

• Experience in customer service in a similar environment.
• Proven leadership and ability to coach staff.
• Experience managing budgets, stock and waste.
• Strong communication and team-player.
• Knowledge of health and safety compliance.

Responsibilities

• Support Food and Beverage Manager to oversee the operation and maintain high standards.
• Lead and coach the team to deliver excellent customer service.
• Drive sales and improve profitability by controlling resources and costs.
