Job summary

Aimbridge Hospitality is seeking a friendly Food and Beverage Assistant to join our dining team at our Livingston location. You will greet guests, take orders, serve meals and beverages, and process payments while maintaining a clean and welcoming dining area.

You’ll support colleagues with food preparation and restock supplies as needed, delivering excellent guest experiences. Strong communication, teamwork and flexibility to work varied shifts, including nights and weekends, are essential to

Qualifications

• Experience in Food & Beverage isn’t essential, but you should be passionate about delivering an exceptional guest experience.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to engage with guests in a friendly, professional manner.
• Able to work well in a team and collaborate with staff to provide excellent service across the hotel.
• Attention to detail and ability to keep dining areas clean and organised.
• Flexible to work varying shifts, including nights, weekends and holidays.

A day in the life of…

As Food and Beverage Assistant you’ll be responsible for ensuring that guests have a positive, first class dining experience. You’ll greet guests, take orders, serve food and drinks, and handle payments. You’ll be responsible for maintaining a clean and organised dining area, restocking supplies, and assisting with food preparation as needed whilst working agilely to support the rest of the wider business. Excellent customer service skills and attention to detail are essential for this role and you'll always work with Aimbridge’s four pillars of Food and Beverage in mind: People, Product, Guest, Performance.

What do we need from you?

• Food and Beverage experience isn't essential for this role, but to be successful, you will be passionate about providing an exceptional guest experience and living through our brand standards
