Job summary

University of Strathclyde in Glasgow is seeking a part-time Food & Beverage Assistant to join the Retail team within Catering services on the John Anderson campus. You will set up and serve staff, students and visitors a variety of food and beverages, delivering friendly, professional service in line with departmental standards.

The role requires excellent customer service, teamwork and the ability to work under pressure.

Job description

Based on the John Anderson campus you will be an integral partof the Retail team within Catering services.As Food & Beverage Assistant you will primarily set upand serve staff, students and visitors a variety of food andbeverages. You love working as part of a team and must bepassionate about customer service and delivery of a wide rangeof catering services.

You will be professional and work in a courteous manner,ensuring agreed Departmental standards are met consistently.Excellent customer service skills and a flexible approach to workpatterns are essential. You must have the ability to work underpressure and on your own initiative at times.

Work pattern of 5 days a week, Monday to Friday.

17.5 hours per week over 31 weeks.
