Hours: 30 hours per week, 8.30am – 3.30pm Monday – Friday (includes a 1-hour unpaid lunch break). Term-time plus 8 Training Days.
Salary: £17,265.00 - £17,539.00 pro-rated. Pay award pending.
We are seeking a Food and Design Technology Technician to support our faculty starting 1 September 2025. Responsibilities include preparing equipment, materials, tools, and ingredients for practical lessons, maintaining tidy workspaces, supporting teaching staff during practical sessions, assisting with demonstrations, and leading small group interventions when required. The role also involves supporting students, especially those with SEND or high-risk needs, to engage effectively in practical learning.
The ideal candidate will be organized, methodical, conscientious, possess good communication skills, and be proficient in IT for duties such as stock ordering and administrative tasks. Willingness to undertake necessary training is essential.
