Ibis London Barking is looking for an enthusiastic person to join our team at the hotel. This position is for a Food and Beverage Team Member who will work in our fabulous team, incorporating both Front Office and Food and Beverage duties in line with business demands, with great possibilities for growth within the company.

Ibis London Barking features 86 inviting guest bedrooms (complete with en suite power showers, 43' flat screen TVs, and tea & coffee facilities). Our affordable London hotel offers a very good value hot & cold breakfast spread each morning, setting you up for even the busiest days.

Qualifications

Profile / Personality

• Provide a friendly and personalized welcome for our guests
• Offer attentive and personalized service

Overview of Duties / Mission

• Perform order-taking tasks and maximize sales opportunities through product knowledge and suggestive selling. Ensure accuracy by repeating orders to guests.
• Take orders and send them to kitchen staff via the POS system.
• Deliver orders promptly to the kitchen and to guests, maintaining temperature and presentation.
• Keep tables and service areas clean and tidy as per procedures.
• Maintain hygienic food service techniques during service.
• Take responsibility for your designated section and station.
• Coordinate with apprentices in food preparation and production as required.
• Prepare and ensure the availability of mise en place.
• Keep all working areas clean and report equipment issues to the Executive Chef.
