Job summary

Chestnut is seeking an organised Food and Beverage Supervisor to lead the Front of House team at The Titchwell Manor Hotel. You will work closely with the General and Assistant Manager to host guests through a quality hospitality experience.

Ideal candidates will supervise daily operations, manage cash transactions, and collaborate with the kitchen to ensure smooth service while maintaining a welcoming environment for guests and staff. Training and development opportunities are available.

Qualifications

• Experience in hospitality or food and beverage service.
• Strong guest service orientation.
• Able to supervise a team and coordinate front of house operations.
• Cash handling and basic financial transactions experience.
• Willingness to learn and grow with accredited training.

Responsibilities

• Supervise the daily Front of House operations and staff, leading by example.
• Coordinate with General/Assistant Manager to ensure smooth guest experiences.
• Work with kitchen team to ensure timely and high-quality service.
• Maintain a clean, welcoming environment for guests and staff.
• Report concerns about team or property to management.

Job requirements:

• To be an enthusiastic individual who enjoys working with high-quality, locally sourced ingredients and take pride in delivering a great guest experience
• Supervise and coordinate the daily operations of the front of house team, leading by example
• Being a team players interested in expanding their knowledge and contributing to a welcoming pub atmosphere and expanding our positive company ethos here at Chestnut
• Having a good understanding of wet/dry stock
• Handle cash and financial transactions accurately.
• Work closely with the kitchen team to ensure smooth food services.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming environment for guests and staff.
• Reporting back to the Assistant/General manager with any concerns regarding team/property
