Job summary

Chestnut is seeking an organised individual to supervise the Front of House and oversee the guest experience at our pub. You will work closely with the General and Assistant Manager to lead the Front of House team and ensure smooth service with high-quality, locally sourced ingredients.

We value energetic team players who relish a welcoming atmosphere, are skilled in stock and cash handling, and are eager to learn and develop through accredited training opportunities.

Qualifications

• Enthusiastic individual who enjoys high-quality, locally sourced ingredients and delivering a great guest experience
• Team player with willingness to expand knowledge and contribute to a welcoming pub atmosphere
• Good understanding of front of house stock and cash handling
• Able to work closely with kitchen team to ensure smooth food services
• Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming environment for guests and staff
• Ability to report concerns to management

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate the daily operations of the front of house team
• Lead by example and support a collaborative team environment
• Coordinate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth food service
• Manage cash and financial transactions accurately
• Maintain cleanliness and a welcoming atmosphere for guests and staff
• Report back to the Assistant/General Manager with any concerns about team or premises

Job description

At Chestnut we strive to be a vibrant, community-focused work environment and are looking for an organised individual to take on the role of a Food and Beverage Supervisor. You will work closely with the General and Assistant Manager to host our guests through an enjoyable hospitality experience by overseeing the Front of House team at The The Weeping Willow.

Job requirements:

• To be an enthusiastic individual who enjoys working with high-quality, locally sourced ingredients and take pride in delivering a great guest experience
• Supervise and coordinate the daily operations of the front of house team, leading by example
• Being a team players interested in expanding their knowledge and contributing to a welcoming pub atmosphere and expanding our positive company ethos here at Chestnut
• Having a good understanding of wet/dry stock
• Handle cash and financial transactions accurately.
• Work closely with the kitchen team to ensure smooth food services.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming environment for guests and staff.
• Reporting back to the Assistant/General manager with any concerns regarding team/property
