Food and Beverage Manager

Contract Term:Fixed until November

Location:Cowes, Isle of Wight

Contract Type:Part Time – 30 hours per week minimum

Salary:£32,000 FTE

Closing Date:23 May 2025
Job Start Date: Early June 2025

Who we are:

The Royal London Yacht Club in partnership with the Royal Thames Yacht Club is a private members’ club established in 1838. It has established an excellent reputation for organising sailing regattas and social events both large and small for its members and guests throughout the year. Our elegant Victorian Clubhouse is situated in an enviable position on The Parade, Cowes, overlooking the Solent.

Our friendly staff team provide a high level of customer service to our members and their guests.

What we need:

We are looking for an experienced hospitality team member who is looking to take the next step in their career. As our Food and Beverage Manager, we will expect you to lead our front-of-house team and be responsible for ensuring that the standard and quality of service delivery for the food & beverage service is maintained to the highest level with energy, professionalism, and an eye for detail.

Working with the General Manager, the chef and front of house team, your main role will be to deliver a seamless front of house service for Club members, their guests and for events. The Club is at its busiest between June and September with our Drawing Room Bar and Restaurant open from Thursday evening to Sunday afternoon as well as other days of opening during regatta weeks and for private events.

You will be responsible for overseeing all food and beverage operations within the club, ensuring high standards of service, profitability, and member satisfaction. This role involves managing staff, maintaining budgets, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations, and enhancing the overall dining and bar experience for members and guests.
