Job summary

Parkdean Resorts UK Limited is seeking a confident Food & Beverage Supervisor to help lead busy complex operations. You will deliver excellent guest experiences, support team development, and ensure smooth, compliant service across safety and financial controls.

In this role you’ll work closely with kitchen teams, manage orders and stock, handle cash, and assist with labour planning. A guest-focused, energetic approach is essential for success.

Qualifications

• Experience leading a team in food & beverage.
• Guest-focused, delivering memorable experiences.
• Experience handling cash and following financial controls.
• Confidence in fast-paced, high-pressure environments.
• Willingness to work evenings, weekends, bank holidays.
• Food Hygiene Level 2 or equivalent (training offered).

Responsibilities

• Lead and present the complex to high standards in line with safety policies.
• Deliver warm guest welcome and meet guest needs.
• Assist Complex Manager with labour planning and wage cost control.
• Place and manage food & beverage orders using ordering systems.
• Handle cash, till operations and cashing up.
• Monitor stock levels to prevent waste and support gross profit targets.
• Support recruitment, induction, and training of team members.
• Coordinate with kitchen teams to ensure specs and portions.
• Handle guest complaints professionally to secure positive outcomes.
• Ensure compliance with food safety, health & safety, financial controls, and training requirements.
• Run shifts when Complex Manager is absent.
• Complete any additional tasks from the General or Complex Manager.

What you will be doing...

• Ensuring the complex is presented to the highest standards, both visually and in line with food safety and hygiene policies.
• Delivering a warm welcome to guests and ensuring their needs are met throughout their visit.
• Supporting the Complex Manager with labour planning and wage cost control.
• Using ordering systems accurately to place and manage food and beverage orders.
• Managing cash handling procedures, including till use and cashing up.
• Monitoring stock levels to ensure availability, reduce waste, and achieve gross profit targets.
• Supporting recruitment, induction, training, and development of team members.
• Working closely with kitchen teams to ensure food meets specification and portion controls are followed.
• Handling customer complaints professionally and efficiently to secure positive outcomes.
• Ensuring compliance across food safety, health & safety, financial controls, and mandatory training.
• Running shifts during the absence of the Complex Manager to ensure seamless operations.
• Completing any additional tasks required by the General Manager or Complex Manager.

• Previous experience supervising or leading a team in a food and beverage environment.
• A guest-focused, engaging approach with a passion for delivering memorable experiences.
• Experience handling cash and following financial control procedures.
• Confidence working in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
• Flexibility to work varied shifts, including evenings, weekends, and bank holidays.
• Food Hygiene Level 2 (or equivalent) - training can be provided.
