Job summary

The Hawthorns Clevedon, part of Avery Healthcare, is seeking a warm Food and Beverage Team Member to assist residents with meals and dining service at Clevedon. You will help residents choose meals, set tables, and keep front of house clean and well-presented throughout the day.

Experience in a similar setting is desirable; a basic Food Hygiene Certificate would be beneficial. You’ll join an award-winning team and have access to apprenticeships and retail/leisure discounts.

Qualifications

• Demonstrate high standards of personal hygiene.
• Compassion and commitment to the delivery of culinary services to residents.
• Experience in a similar setting (restaurant or hotel) desirable.
• A basic Food Hygiene Certificate would be beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Support the dining service and assist residents with their meals.
• Help residents choose meal options at the time of dining.
• Ensure dining tables are set in accordance with SOPs.
• Keep front of house clean, tidy and well-presented; remove and replenish dirty crockery.
• Replenish fresh homemade cakes/biscuits, finger foods and fresh fruit in the bistro areas.
• Be aware of residents' dietary requirements.

We’re now looking for a warm, enthusiastic, and dedicated individual to join our award-winning team as a Food and Beverage Team Member at The Hawthorns Clevedon in Clevedon.

ABOUT THE ROLE

Your focus as a Food and Beverage Team Member will be to support with the dining service and assisting residents with their meals.

Other responsibilities will include: Supporting the residents with choosing their meal options at the time of dining.

Ensuring that dining tables are set in accordance with the standard operating procedures.

Keeping front of house clean, tidy and well-presented, and that dirty crockery is removed and replenished throughout the day.

Ensuring fresh homemade cakes/biscuits are accessible in the bistro areas are replenished throughout the day as well as finger food and fresh fruit options.

Being aware of resident’s dietary requirements.
