Job summary

The Hawthorns Clevedon, part of Avery Healthcare, is seeking a warm and dedicated Food and Beverage Team Member to support dining services for residents.

You will assist residents with meal choices, ensure tables are set to SOPs, keep front of house clean, replenish pastries, finger foods and fruit, and respect dietary requirements. DBS disclosure is required and Avery Healthcare will meet the cost. Proof of eligibility to work in the UK is required.

Qualifications

• Demonstrate high standards of personal hygiene.
• Demonstrate compassion and commitment to the delivery of culinary services to residents.
• Have experience of working in a similar setting, restaurant or hotel would be desirable.
• A basic Food Hygiene Certificate would be beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Supporting the residents with choosing their meal options at the time of dining.
• Ensuring that dining tables are set in accordance with the standard operating procedures.
• Keeping front of house clean, tidy and well-presented, and that dirty crockery is removed and replenished throughout the day.
• Ensuring fresh homemade cakes/biscuits are accessible in the bistro areas are replenished throughout the day as well as finger food and fresh fruit options.
• Being aware of resident’s dietary requirements.
