Job summary

The Royal Shakespeare Company in Stratford-upon-Avon is seeking Food and Beverage Assistants to deliver high quality service across outlets, including the Rooftop Restaurant, cafés, terrace and theatre bars. These are variable hours roles with shifts across evenings and weekends.

You will report to the Food and Beverage Management team and support with functions and events while maintaining high standards of service and hygiene.

Qualifications

• Deliver friendly, welcoming and efficient service to guests.
• Work collaboratively with front-of-house, kitchen and events teams.
• Understand basic food hygiene and safety regulations (training provided).
• Be reliable and take responsibility for assigned areas and tasks.
• Have a willingness to learn and develop new skills.
• Be adaptable to changing menus, service styles and events.

Responsibilities

• Greeting and welcoming customers and taking responsibility for a section of the restaurant, café or bar.
• Serving food and drinks across all outlets.
• Ensuring areas are presented to a high standard for each service.
• Receiving and checking deliveries, ensuring safe handling and storage.

We are looking for Food and Beverage Assistants to join our team, helping to deliver exceptional food and beverage services across our outlets, including the Rooftop Restaurant, cafés, terrace and theatre bars. Whether welcoming guests attending a world-class performance, enjoying a meal in our Rooftop Restaurant, or joining us for a special event, you'll play an important role in making every visit memorable.

These are variable hours positions which help us support busy trading periods and special events throughout the year. We are looking for people who can work flexibly across a range of shifts, including evenings and weekends.
