Another Place, The Lake, Ullswater, Cumbria, is seeking a Food & Beverage Assistant to join our team. You’ll be central to delivering a seamless dining experience with calm efficiency and genuine hospitality, supporting day-to-day service and ensuring interactions feel effortless and welcoming.

You’ll work closely with the wider team to maintain high standards behind the scenes and help guests unwind, enjoying the stunning lake views and relaxed atmosphere.

Qualifications

• Some barista, waiting, or bar experience (or time spent in other guest-facing roles in retail or leisure) is ideal, but personality and attitude matter most, and we offer full training for the right candidate
• A team spirit, with a personality that lights up the room

Responsibilities

• Taking part in team tasting sessions, giving you an authentic understanding of our menus to spark creativity, conversation, and team connection.
• Keeping your workspace clean, tidy, and organised to ensure that both guests and team members feel at ease.
• Looking after guest billing efficiently and accurately.
• Supporting and mentoring new team members, sharing your skills and helping them thrive.
• Collaborating as part of our dynamic, committed team, where flexibility, curiosity, and energy are combined.

Our Food and Beverage Assistant role:
