Job summary

Valor Hospitality at voco Fareham-Solent is seeking a dedicated Food and Beverage Assistant. The role covers guest service, dining area upkeep, and efficient food/beverage service to ensure memorable experiences for guests. The position is part-time, with shifts including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Salary is £16,523 per annum for 25 hours per week across 4 days, plus benefits and career development opportunities in a valued hospitality team.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a similar role within the hospitality industry is desirable but not mandatory.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks efficiently.
• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high standards.
• Flexible to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the preparation and serving of food and beverages to guests in an efficient and pleasant manner.
• Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the dining areas, ensuring compliance with health and safety standards.
• Provide excellent customer service by addressing guest inquiries and resolving complaints promptly and professionally.
• Support the Food and Beverage team in all operational duties, including setting up and clearing tables, restocking supplies, and assisting with inventory management.
• Assist in the coordination and execution of events and special functions.
• Ensure all areas are well-stocked and presented impeccably at all times.
