Job summary

Avery Healthcare Group is seeking a warm, enthusiastic Food and Beverage Team Member for Rivermere Care Home in Chipstead, Sevenoaks, Kent. You will support dining service and assist residents with meals, contributing to a caring, high‑quality environment.

The role involves helping residents choose meals, keeping front of house tidy, replenishing cakes and fruit, and respecting dietary requirements. DBS check and UK work eligibility are required; basic Food Hygiene Certificate beneficial.

Qualifications

• Experience in a similar setting, restaurant or hotel is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Support residents with choosing their meal options at dining time.
• Ensure dining tables are set in accordance with SOPs.
• Keep front of house clean, tidy and well-presented; clear and replenish crockery.
• Ensure fresh homemade cakes/biscuits, finger foods and fresh fruit are available in the Bistro areas.
• Be aware of and accommodate residents' dietary requirements.

ABOUT THE ROLE

Your focus as a Food and Beverage Team Member will be to support with the dining service and assisting residents with their meals.

Other responsibilities will include:

• Supporting the residents with choosing their meal options at the time of dining.


• Ensuring that dining tables are set in accordance with the standard operating procedures.


• Keeping front of house clean, tidy and well‑presented, and that dirty crockery is removed and replenished throughout the day.


• Ensuring fresh homemade cakes/biscuits are accessible in the bistro areas are replenished throughout the day as well as finger food and fresh fruit options.


• Being aware of resident’s dietary requirements.
