Job summary

Avery Healthcare Group is seeking a warm, enthusiastic Food and Beverage Team Member for Rivermere Care Home in Chipstead, Sevenoaks, Kent. You will support dining service and assist residents with meals, ensuring tables are set and the dining area remains tidy.

Applicants should show compassion, maintain high hygiene, and may have basic Food Hygiene Certificate. DBS check will be required and eligibility to work in the UK must be shown. This is a full-time role with a caring, respectful team.

ABOUT THE ROLE

Your focus as a Food and Beverage Team Member will be to support with the dining service and assisting residents with their meals.

Other responsibilities will include:

• Supporting the residents with choosing their meal options at the time of dining.
• Ensuring that dining tables are set in accordance with the standard operating procedures.
• Keeping front of house clean, tidy and well-presented, and that dirty crockery is removed and replenished throughout the day.
• Ensuring fresh homemade cakes/biscuits are accessible in the bistro areas are replenished throughout the day as well as finger food and fresh fruit options.
• Being aware of residents dietary requirements.
