Job summary

Holiday Inn Aylesbury is seeking a friendly Food and Beverage Assistant to join our front-of-house team. You will help serve meals and drinks, maintain dining area standards, and ensure guests have a memorable experience.

You should be a strong communicator, work well in a busy environment, and be flexible to work evenings, weekends, and holidays. Full training will be provided, and we value diverse, welcoming staff.

Qualifications

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Experience in a similar hospitality role is desirable but not required.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with attention to detail.
• Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the preparation and serving of food and beverages to guests in an efficient and pleasant manner.
• Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the dining areas, ensuring compliance with health and safety standards.
• Provide excellent customer service by addressing guest inquiries and resolving complaints promptly and professionally.
• Support the Food and Beverage team in all operational duties, including setting up and clearing tables, restocking supplies, and assisting with inventory management.
• Assist in the coordination and execution of events and special functions.
• Ensure all areas are well-stocked and presented impeccably at all times.
