Job summary

Urban Playground - Up No2 Ltd is seeking a Front of House Team Leader for the venue at THE CUBE, Canary Wharf. You will lead the FOH team, coordinate high-volume service and ensure an exceptional guest experience in our restaurant environment.

You must have strong English communication, at least 3 years in restaurant service and 1 year in supervision, with experience in busy events. The role requires evenings and weekends, with opportunities to develop the team and service standards.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of restaurant service experience.
• At least 1 year in supervisory positions.
• Experience in high volume restaurant operations.
• Experience leading teams and coordinating kitchen pass.
• Excellent verbal and written English is required.

Responsibilities

• Provide top quality restaurant service to enhance customer experience.
• Supervise a small team on shift and ensure standards.
• Take orders and serve with enthusiasm.
• Coordinate order flow and manage the kitchen pass.
• Escalate issues to senior staff.
• Monitor stock and reduce wastage.
• Maintain a clean and presentable service area.
• Assist in setup, cutlery and menus.
• Assist in closing the restaurant and deep cleaning.
• Assist in onboarding and upskilling newer team members.
