Job summary

Big Mamma in London is seeking a dedicated Supervisor to lead front-of-house operations. You will report to the Front-of-House Manager and uphold our standards of excellence, hospitality and teamwork.

You will optimise table turnover, manage schedules, stock and cash handling, and coach the FOH team. This is a permanent full-time role with generous holidays, pension, staff meals and employee discounts across UK venues. Geographical mobility across UK & Europe is available.

Responsibilities

• Ensure excellence, consistency, and speed of service, in line with the Big Mamma vision.
• Responsible for welcoming guests.
• Optimize table turnover / service pace and staff efficiency for resetting tables.
• Ensure the average check meets targets through staff briefings, sales training requests when needed, performance monitoring of section heads, and individual coaching.
• Oversee team schedules.
• Responsible for orders and stock management (wine, tableware, aprons).
• Responsible for cash handling.
• Ensure proper use and maintenance of equipment.
• Participate in the recruitment process for new hires.
• Support the onboarding of new team members.
• Coach and support the front-of-house team daily.
• Be a key driver of team cohesion and positive working relationships.
