Job summary

Unilever in Port Sunlight is seeking a Multi-Skilled Day Engineer to focus on continuous improvement and maintenance of production lines within Personal Care. The role requires driving performance, leading PM activities, and ensuring AM standards are followed to maintain line conditions and reduce breakdowns.

Responsibilities include health and safety leadership, applying 5S, TSAM, and WCM methodologies, and coordinating improvements across the line to enhance efficiency and reduce losses.

Qualifications

• Minimum qualifications are skilled and instructed levels; candidates are encouraged to reach skilled instructed level.

Responsibilities

• Identify and report health or safety hazards and implement control measures.
• Ensure LOTO is followed and train others as required.
• Conduct hot work permits in their area.
• Lead focused improvement to increase line efficiency and reduce losses.
• Drive PM activities and ensure operators follow AM standards to maintain basic line conditions.
• Analyse unit loss trees and top loss breakdowns to eliminate gaps.
