Job summary

Poundland Limited is seeking a Supply Chain Planner to help ensure the smooth flow of FMCG stock from suppliers to distribution centres to stores across the UK. The role focuses on balancing availability, stock levels, and commercial priorities to hit sales and margin targets.

You will work with suppliers and internal teams on end-to-end replenishment, promotions, and range changes while building strong supplier relationships and driving improvements in service levels.

Qualifications

• Experience in a supply chain role within a retail environment is preferred.
• Knowledge of end-to-end replenishment systems (inbound/outbound).
• Strong analytical skills and ability to interpret data to drive decisions.
• Commercial awareness with ability to balance availability and stock investment.
• Excellent communication and influencing skills across all levels; teamwork is key.
• Proactive, solution-focused mindset with risk management.
• Knowledge of best practice within supply chain and logistics; willingness to learn and develop.

Responsibilities

• Manage inbound and outbound flow of stock to maximise store availability.
• Monitor product lifecycles and address risks proactively with cross-functional teams.
• Maintain forecasts and stock levels balancing commercial and operational needs.
• Collaborate with suppliers and internal teams to ensure on-time delivery and launches.
• Support promotional, seasonal, and range-change planning.
• Analyse performance data to drive improvements in availability and efficiency.
• Build relationships with suppliers and stakeholders to deliver service above target.
