Job summary

Booker is seeking a Supply Chain Demand Planner with a can-do attitude to join our team in Royton. You will manage demand planning and stock replenishment, interfacing with customers, suppliers, and Best Food Logistics.

The role requires a degree and 2–3 years’ experience in FMCG supply chain, plus strong Excel skills and the ability to work weekends on a rota. You will contribute to service levels and inventory availability, driving continuous improvement, and collaborating with National

Qualifications

• Degree level or equivalent required.
• 2–3 years of supply chain and replenishment experience.
• Strong data analysis skills and advanced Excel.
• Willingness to work weekends on a rota basis.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain collaborative relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
• Deliver inventory budget (~£3m per week) and achieve product availability targets.
• Identify initiatives to improve forecast accuracy and supplier performance.
• Balance priorities between business goals, cost, and customer expectations.
• Ensure DFPR solution business rules meet customer and business needs.
• Drive forecast accuracy and supplier collaboration across item classifications.
• Lead customer promotions and projects, with continuous improvement in processes.
• Provide training and develop best practices for colleagues on replenishment.
