Job summary

Greencore Harrow site is seeking a Planner to create daily production plans, manage stock, and ensure the factory runs efficiently to meet customer demand. You will forecast requirements, track performance and identify opportunities to improve processes and reduce costs.

You will act as a key link between departments to support daily operations. The role requires strong planning experience in an FMCG environment, excellent numerical and Excel skills, and proactive problem-solving in a fast-paced

Qualifications

• Experience in a planning role within a fast-paced FMCG environment.
• Strong numerical ability with data analysis and decision-making.
• Excellent written and verbal communication to support cross-functional work.
• Proficient Excel user with willingness to develop further.
• Proactive problem solver with initiative to resolve challenges.

Responsibilities

• Plan and prioritise production to maximise efficiency and meet service targets.
• Manage stock levels across finished goods, WIP and offsite inventory.
• Monitor daily performance and ensure smooth operational flow.
• Forecast production needs to support material availability and labour planning.
• Analyse KPIs and identify opportunities for cost and process improvements.
• Collaborate across teams and communicate with internal and external stakeholders.
• Implement improvements to reduce costs and optimise planning.
