Job summary

Hunter Selection is seeking a Maintenance Engineer in St. Neots for a Monday-Friday, 08:00-16:30 shift. Salary £42,000 - £44,000. Role involves supporting PPM and reactive maintenance on site, with mechanical and minor electrical fault finding, plus project work to upgrade machinery.

The ideal candidate will have a mechanical bias, experience in manufacturing (packaging/FMCG advantageous), strong PPM/reactive engineering skills, and the ability to work both in a team and independently.

Qualifications

• Experienced Mechanical biased Maintenance Engineer.
• Must have worked within a manufacturing environment.
• Experience working within packaging or another FMCG environment would be advantageous.
• Strong PPM and reactive engineering experience.
• Comfortable working in a team and on your own.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for supporting all PPM and reactive maintenance across site.
• Mechanical & minor electrical fault finding & repairs.
• Regularly upgrading machinery and completing project work.
• Working closely with the wider team including shift engineers and management.
