Job summary

Synergi Recruitment is seeking a Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer in Lincolnshire for a leading FMCG manufacturer. You will maintain and improve automated production and packaging equipment within a fast-paced site.

You will work across PLCs, drives, motors and control systems, carrying out planned and reactive maintenance, fault finding, and supporting continuous improvement initiatives. A strong electrical/mechanical background is essential.

Qualifications

Multi-skilled maintenance experience in FMCG or food manufacturing.
Strong electrical fault-finding ability and experience with automated equipment.
Familiarity with PLCs, drives, motors and control systems.

Responsibilities

Carrying out planned and reactive maintenance across production machinery and site services.
Diagnosing and repairing electrical and mechanical faults to minimise downtime.
Maintaining automated processing and packaging equipment.
Working with PLCs, inverters, control panels and electrical systems.
Servicing conveyors, motors, drives, mixers, extruders and ovens.
Fault finding on hydraulic, pneumatic and steam systems.
Supporting continuous improvement initiatives and engineering projects.
Working closely with production teams to maximise equipment performance.
Maintaining accurate maintenance records through CMMS systems.
Ensuring compliance with health and safety procedures.
