Job summary

SJS Recruitment is seeking a Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer in the Nottinghamshire area on Monday to Friday with a 3-shift rotation and a salary around £59,000. The role covers mechanical, electrical, and potential automation tasks in a fast-paced FMCG environment.

You will be responsible for proactive and reactive maintenance to improve equipment reliability and performance, while supporting site efficiency projects and continuous improvement initiatives.

Qualifications

• Solid background in FMCG, food or drink manufacturing.
• Experience with preventative maintenance and root cause analysis.
• Familiarity with PLCs, conveyors and packaging machinery.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and improve reliability and performance of production equipment.
• Handle reactive and planned maintenance to minimise downtime.
• Contribute to engineering projects to enhance site efficiency and uptime.
• Collaborate with production and maintenance teams across mechanical, electrical, and automation tasks.
