Job summary

Impression Recruitment is seeking an experienced FMCG Maintenance Engineer in Harrogate. The role involves maintaining high-speed automated machinery on a rotating shift pattern and ensuring production lines run reliably to meet demanding targets.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in a maintenance role within manufacturing or FMCG.
• Strong fault finding skills on automated production equipment.
• Safety conscious with strong problem solving and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair faults on high-speed automated machinery.
• Carry out planned and reactive maintenance across a wide range of equipment.
• Ensure compliance with Health & Safety, hygiene and quality protocols.
• Conduct Root Cause Analysis (RCA) and share learnings across the team.
• Work with the team to ensure equipment operates within standard operating procedures.
• Identify and implement maintenance improvements to enhance efficiency and reliability.
• Oversee and manage on-site contractors, ensuring safety and documentation standards.
• Maintain clear shift handovers and complete maintenance records accurately.
