Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair faults on high-speed automated machinery.
• Carry out planned and reactive maintenance across a wide range of equipment.
• Ensure compliance with Health & Safety, hygiene and quality protocols.
• Conduct Root Cause Analysis (RCA) and share learnings across the team.
• Work with the team to ensure equipment operates within standard operating procedures.
• Identify and implement maintenance improvements to enhance efficiency and reliability.
• Oversee and manage on-site contractors, ensuring safety and documentation standards.
• Maintain clear shift handovers and complete maintenance records accurately.

Your Duties As FMCG Maintenance Engineer Will Include

• Diagnose and repair faults on high speed, automated machinery
• Carry out planned and reactive maintenance across a wide range of specialist equipment
• Ensure compliance with all Health & Safety, hygiene and quality protocols
• Conduct Root Cause Analysis (RCA) and share learnings across the team
• Work collaboratively to ensure equipment operates within standard operating procedures
• Identify and implement maintenance improvements to enhance efficiency and reliability
• Oversee and manage on site contractors, ensuring full compliance with safety and documentation standards
• Maintain clear shift handovers and complete all relevant maintenance records accurately

Experience Required

• Proven experience in a maintenance role within manufacturing or FMCG
• Strong fault finding skills on automated production equipment
• Safety conscious with strong problem solving and attention to detail
• Capable of mechanical servicing and repairs (e.g., welding, turning)
• Excellent communication skills and a collaborative team player
