Job summary

Pioneer Selection is recruiting for a Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer to join a modern FMCG manufacturing site in Gloucestershire. The role covers electrical and mechanical maintenance, fault-finding, and planned preventative maintenance on automated production machinery to maximise uptime.

The successful candidate will work a 4 on, 4 off shift pattern (days and nights) and contribute to reliability, process efficiency, and continuous improvement across the site.

Qualifications

• Electrical maintenance experience in an industrial manufacturing or FMCG environment.
• Hands-on experience with planned, reactive and breakdown maintenance in a fast-paced factory.
• Ability to work a days and nights shift pattern.
• Recognised electrical engineering qualification (NVQ Level 3, City & Guilds or equivalent).
• Mechanical maintenance experience (motors, gearboxes, bearings, pneumatics and hydraulics).
• Basic PLC fault-finding experience advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Carry out electrical and mechanical maintenance on production machinery.
• Perform fault-finding and planned preventative maintenance.
• Help reduce downtime and improve line reliability.
• Support production performance across the site on a 4 on 4 off shift.
