Job summary

International Procurement and Logistics Limited is seeking a Machine Technician for our Normanton site. This on-site role operates on a 4 on, 4 off shift pattern from 6:30am to 7:15pm, permanent contract.

You will work within the Engineering & Facilities team to maintain machinery, follow SOPs, and support safe, efficient production. Applicants should have FMCG production experience, strong mechanical skills, and GCSEs in Maths and English.

Qualifications

• Eligible to work in the UK.
• GCSE Maths and English at minimum.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and practical skills.

Responsibilities

• Follow SOPs in a clean, safe environment at all times.
• Maintain machinery to high standards of cleanliness and safety.
• Conduct daily machine safety checks per SOPs.
• Lead autonomous maintenance on equipment.
• Communicate machine safety issues to Engineering & Line Leaders.
• Monitor yield to optimise IPL value.
• Perform changeovers with minimal downtime and identify improvements.
• Report run-rate issues affecting safety or productivity.
