Job summary
IPS (Part of the Culina Group) is seeking an Engineering Manager to lead the site engineering team at Featherstone on a 6-month fixed-term basis. You will drive maintenance strategies, safety compliance, and continuous improvement to deliver an operationally excellent factory in line with business goals.
Ideal candidates will have at least five years' engineering experience in FMCG settings, TPM knowledge, and hands-on CMMS experience.
Qualifications
- Experience in FMCG manufacturing environments.
- TPM methodology awareness.
- Working knowledge of RCM/RCA.
- IOSH certification or equivalent safety training.
- Five+ years’ engineering (projects and maintenance) in food production.
- Continuous improvement experience and tools.
Responsibilities
- Lead and develop the site engineering team with clear direction.
- Design and implement maintenance procedures and CMMS data integrity.
- Manage the maintenance budget and capital projects.
- Drive OEE loss reduction using RCAs and improvement actions.
- Oversee training, development plans, and performance reviews.
- Mentor production managers on engineering decision-making.
