Job summary

Ernest Gordon Recruitment is looking for a Maintenance Engineer (Electrical bias) for a leading FMCG manufacturing site in Montrose. The role focuses on maintaining production machinery, fault finding, and electrical control systems, with inverter drives, relays and motors, on a site-based operation.

The position offers rotating shifts, on-call weekends with retainer pay, and opportunities for progression and training in a modern facility.

Qualifications

• Experience as a Maintenance Engineer.
• Electrical qualification.
• Multi skilled in mechanics and electrics.

Responsibilities

• Carry out planned preventative maintenance on plant, machinery, and production equipment.
• Respond to electrical and mechanical breakdowns, carrying out fault finding and repairs.
• Perform plant start-up and shutdown procedures.
• Rotating 2-week shifts, early: 04:30 – 13:30, late: 13:00 – 22:00.
• On call one in four weekends, retainer pay provided.
