Job summary

s1jobs is seeking an experienced Electrical Maintenance Engineer to maintain and optimise engineering assets in a fast-paced food-manufacturing setting. The role is on shift and commutable from Stirling, Falkirk, Livingston, and Glasgow.

You will carry out planned preventative maintenance, diagnose faults, and analyse downtime to drive improvements while ensuring safety and hygiene standards are met.

Qualifications

• Qualified in Electrical Engineering (City & Guilds or equivalent).
• Experience in food manufacturing or FMCG preferred.
• Strong knowledge of maintenance processes and systems.
• Experience with continuous improvement, Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma.

Responsibilities

• Carry out planned preventive maintenance and recommend improvements.
• Diagnose faults and complete breakdown repairs quickly to minimise downtime.
• Analyse downtime, line efficiency and waste data to identify improvements.
• Work safely and maintain required factory hygiene standards.
• Complete maintenance records, reports and line log books.
• Use technical manuals and drawings to identify equipment and replacement parts.
• Support manufacturing teams and operate machinery where required.
