Job summary

Hunter Selection seeks a Continuous Improvement Manager in Newport, UK, to lead CI across the site. You will drive Lean initiatives, coach teams in problem solving, and collaborate with Operations, Engineering and Supply Chain to optimize processes.

Qualifications

Proven experience in Continuous Improvement, Operational Excellence or similar in FMCG.
Practical knowledge of Lean tools: Kaizen, Value Stream Mapping, 5S, standard work, visual management, SMED/changeover reduction, waste elimination.
Lean Six Sigma qualification desirable; Green Belt or equivalent preferred.
Advanced Excel and strong Power BI/reporting capability; experience with MRP/ERP systems.

Responsibilities

Lead CI initiatives across the site delivering measurable gains in safety, quality, delivery, cost and productivity.
Utilise operational data to identify improvements, remove inefficiencies and drive sustainable performance.
Coach and develop teams in Lean manufacturing, structured problem solving and root cause analysis.
Collaborate with Operations, Engineering, Technical and Supply Chain to remove constraints and optimize processes.
Embed a culture of CI through project governance, performance tracking and standardisation of best practices.
