About the Role:
We are seeking a skilled and proactive Mechanical Maintenance Engineer to join our growing facilities management team in London. This is an exciting opportunity to work across a diverse portfolio of commercial properties, ensuring the highest standards of mechanical maintenance, compliance, and customer service.
Key Responsibilities:
Carrying out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive mechanical works.
Diagnosing and repairing faults across HVAC systems, pumps, valves, and pipework.
Supporting energy efficiency improvements and building sustainability initiatives.
Conducting inspections, ensuring statutory compliance (e.g., TMV, legionella).
Liaising with clients and site managers to provide updates and technical guidance.
Maintaining accurate service records and completing job reports via CAFM systems.
Requirements:
City & Guilds Level 2/3 or NVQ in Mechanical Engineering, Plumbing, or equivalent.
Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience in a similar maintenance role.
Good knowledge of HVAC, plumbing systems, and general building services.
Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills.
Experience working within commercial buildings or facilities management environments.
Full UK driving licence (desirable, but not essential for central London roles).
