Job summary

Omega Resource Group in Luton is seeking an FM Bid Manager to drive bid strategy and oversee the full lifecycle from qualification to submission.

You will lead a high-performing bid management team, coordinating with Finance, Commercial, Operations and HR to develop win strategies across facilities management, security, cleaning and events. The role includes driving pricing alignment and ensuring compliant submissions for continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Experience in bid, tender or proposal management.
• Senior management experience leading teams and influencing stakeholders.
• Proven leadership of a complex bid function in multi-sector or B2B.
• Strong ability to balance strategy with delivery in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience using CRM/bid management systems, ideally Salesforce.
• Excellent communication and influencing skills across audiences.
• Experience in Facilities Management or related sectors (desirable).

Responsibilities

• Develop bid strategies aligned with objectives and growth plans.
• Lead bid lifecycle from qualification to submission and post-bid review.
• Lead bid kick-off meetings and executive reviews.
• Ensure submissions meet standards for compliance and quality.
• Coach and develop the bid management team.
• Collaborate with Finance and Commercial teams on pricing and profitability.
• Provide market intelligence and competitive analysis to bids.
