Job summary

ECG Facilities Services is seeking a senior Bid Manager to lead end-to-end bid processes for M&E maintenance contracts in the UK. You will manage tender timelines, site visits, documentation reviews and post-tender presentations to clients.

You will analyse outcomes, gather client feedback, and work with Operations, Technical Management and Contract Support teams to drive continuous improvement. A strong background in PPM estimating and procurement is essential.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years in PPM estimating within facilities management or M&E services.
• Experience using PPM estimating tools and CRM systems.
• Solid understanding of SFG20 service specification.
• Attendance at post tender interviews and delivering presentations via PowerPoint.
• Strong understanding of private & public sector procurement processes.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Self-motivated and dependable, with the ability to work independently and contribute effectively within a team.
• Organised communicator with strong interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage bid timelines, ensuring deadlines are met without compromising quality.
• Lead the end-to-end bid process including tender site visits and documentation review.
• Attend post-tender interviews and deliver professional PowerPoint presentations to clients.
• Analyse bid outcomes and collect client feedback for continuous improvement.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders including Operations, Technical Management & Contract Support.
• Lead or assist mobilisation of contracts where you are bid lead.
• Provide support and cover for the National Sales Manager.
