Job summary

Domino Printing Sciences in Liverpool is seeking a New Product Introduction (NPI) Manager to lead the Fluids NPI team and drive the industrialisation of new ink products from development to full-scale manufacturing.

You will collaborate with R&D, Procurement, Quality and Manufacturing to ensure products are robust, scalable and ready for launch worldwide, with emphasis on process safety, automation, and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

  • Degree in Chemical Engineering, Process Engineering, Automation Engineering, or a related discipline.
  • Experience specifying, evaluating, and delivering automated manufacturing equipment.
  • Passion for innovation, process optimisation, and effective project delivery.
  • Strong understanding of process safety within a manufacturing environment.
  • Ability to lead, coach, and motivate teams across multi-site and cross-functional projects.
  • Excellent analytical and communication skills.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and develop the Fluids New Product Introduction (NPI) team.
  • Deliver new products to launch on time, within budget, and with effective scale-up plans.
  • Drive the transfer of new ink products from development to full-scale manufacturing.

  • Ensure manufacturing processes, SOPs, and GMP standards are met.

About the Role

We have an exciting opportunity for a New Product Introduction (NPI) Manager to lead our Group Operations Fluids NPI team, based at our Liverpool manufacturing site. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the successful transition of new ink products from development into full-scale manufacturing. Working closely with R&D, Procurement, Quality, and Manufacturing teams, you will drive the industrialisation of new products, ensuring they are robust, scalable, and ready for launch to customers worldwide. This is a highly collaborative position that offers the opportunity to influence product introduction strategies, optimise manufacturing readiness, and play a key role in bringing innovative technologies to market.

Key Responsibilities Include
  • Lead and develop the Fluids New Product Introduction (NPI) team.

About you

We are looking for a commercially minded Process or Chemical Engineer with experience in manufacturing, automation, and product industrialisation. You will be a confident leader who thrives in a fast-paced environment, combining strong technical expertise with excellent organisational, analytical, and problem-solving skills. Passionate about innovation and continuous improvement, you will be motivated to drive positive change, optimise processes, and develop high-performing teams.

To be successful in this role, you will have
  • A degree in Chemical Engineering, Process Engineering, Automation Engineering, or a related discipline (or equivalent experience).
  • Experience specifying, evaluating, and delivering automated manufacturing equipment.
  • A passion for innovation, process optimisation, and effective project delivery.
  • A strong understanding of process safety within a manufacturing environment.
  • The ability to lead, coach, and motivate teams across multi-site and cross-functional projects.
  • Strong analytical skills, with the ability to use data to drive efficiency and performance improvements.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
