Job summary

Domino Printing Sciences in Liverpool seeks a commercially minded NPI Manager to lead the Fluids NPI team and oversee the transition of ink products from development to full-scale manufacturing. You will collaborate with R&D, Procurement, Quality and Manufacturing to industrialise new products for global launch.

The role focuses on robust, scalable product readiness, process automation, and driving continuous improvement across multi-site projects with strong leadership and problem-solving

Qualifications

• Degree in Chemical/Process/Automation Engineering or related field.
• Experience specifying and delivering automated manufacturing equipment.
• Strong communication and leadership across multi-site and cross-functional teams.
• Knowledge of process safety within manufacturing environments.
• Commercially minded with manufacturing and NPI experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop the Fluids New Product Introduction (NPI) team.
• Deliver new products to launch on time, within budget, and with scale-up plans.
• Drive transfer of new ink products from development to full-scale manufacturing.
• Work with R&D and manufacturing teams to ensure products are designed for efficient production.
• Identify and implement automation and process improvement opportunities.
• Ensure manufacturing processes, SOPs, and GMP standards are met.

We have an exciting opportunity for a New Product Introduction (NPI) Manager to lead our Group Operations Fluids NPI team, based at our Liverpool manufacturing site.

In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the successful transition of new ink products from development into full-scale manufacturing. Working closely with R&D, Procurement, Quality, and Manufacturing teams, you will drive the industrialisation of new products, ensuring they are robust, scalable, and ready for launch to customers worldwide.

This is a highly collaborative position that offers the opportunity to influence product introduction strategies, optimise manufacturing readiness, and play a key role in bringing innovative technologies to market.

We are looking for a commercially minded Process or Chemical Engineer with experience in manufacturing, automation, and product industrialisation. You will be a confident leader who thrives in a fast-paced environment, combining strong technical expertise with excellent organisational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.

Passionate about innovation and continuous improvement, you will be motivated to drive positive change, optimise processes, and develop high-performing teams.

To Be Successful In This Role, You Will Have

• A degree in Chemical Engineering, Process Engineering, Automation Engineering, or a related discipline (or equivalent experience).
• Experience specifying, evaluating, and delivering automated manufacturing equipment.
• A passion for innovation, process optimisation, and effective project delivery.
• A strong understanding of process safety within a manufacturing environment.
• The ability to lead, coach, and motivate teams across multi-site and cross-functional projects.
• Strong analytical skills, with the ability to use data to drive efficiency and performance improvements.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
