Job summary

Fowler Welch is seeking a warehouse operative in the UK to load/unload products, complete inbound and outbound documentation, and ensure loads are secured prior to dispatch. The role emphasizes accuracy, safety, and timely execution within a chilled environment.

You will report faults, assist with stock control, and support achieving productivity targets while adhering to HACCP and company procedures. Benefits include a strong package and progression opportunities.

Qualifications

• Experience working in a chilled/cold environment.
• Experience in an environment where deadlines and quality are critical.
• Ability to understand verbal and numerical information.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload products in line with company policies and procedures.
• Complete inbound and dispatch documentation accurately.
• Report trailer or MHE faults and manage VOR vehicle placement as required.
• Ensure goods are picked and assembled accurately per instructions.
• Ensure dispatched loads are properly secured before leaving loading bay.
• Work to meet productivity targets while maintaining safety and quality.
• Follow Health & Safety policy, SSOWs and HACCP regulations and challenge non-compliance.
• Handle customer returns and notify the Stock Controller.
