Job summary

The Best Connection in Middlesbrough is seeking an experienced FLT & Scissor Lift Operative to join their team on an ongoing basis. This role involves working in a stores/warehouse environment, handling stock, and operating FLT equipment.

You will perform stock checks, cycle counting, and ensure accurate records while following health and safety procedures. Licences for Counterbalance FLT, HLOP, and Scissor Lift are required; comfortable working at heights is essential.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a stores/warehouse environment.
• Good knowledge of stores processes and cycle counting.
• Good computer literacy and attention to detail.
• Excellent health and safety awareness.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Manage and organise stock within the stores.
• Carry out regular stock checks and cycle counting.
• Receive, check and put away stock.
• Pick and prepare materials as required.
• Maintain accurate stock records and use computer systems to record stock.
• Operate FLT and access equipment safely and follow health and safety procedures.
