Job summary

Inspired Pet Nutrition Ltd is seeking a Skilled Warehouse Operative / FLT Driver for its Crick manufacturing site in Northamptonshire. The role is permanent with a 4 on 4 off 12-hour day pattern, averaging about 42 hours per week.

Shifts run 06:00–18:00 with an hourly rate of £16.09 (including a shift allowance). The successful candidate will operate FLT, support production, and ensure safe material handling and despatch operations.

Qualifications

• Experience in a similar warehouse or manufacturing role.
• Valid FLT licence with counterbalance or reach truck experience (certification required).
• Strong literacy and numeracy skills; good standard of education.
• Ability to understand, communicate, and report clearly in English.

Responsibilities

• Supply production departments with raw and packaging materials to maintain a continuous production programme.
• Transport finished goods from production areas to the warehouse for storage until despatch.
• Unload incoming vehicles as required and store materials following acceptance and GRN generation.
• Pick and assemble loads for despatch and load outgoing vehicles with despatch paperwork.
• Work safely at all times, following health and safety policies and reporting concerns.
• Ensure the FLT fleet is fit for purpose by completing pre-use documentation and reporting any vehicle damage.
• Mentor and support colleagues as required.
