Machine Operative with FLT

Location: Knowsley L34

Pay Rate: £13.82

Shifts: 07:00-19:00 / 19:00-07:00

Days: 4-on-4-off ( 2 days, 2 nights)

We are currently recruiting a skilled Machine Operative with a valid Counterbalance FLT licence to join our growing production team. This role combines hands‑on production machine operation with forklift driving and offers excellent long‑term progression and development opportunities.

This is an ideal role for someone who is reliable, motivated, and eager to learn new skills and increase their earning potential.

Key Responsibilities

• Operating production and processing machinery safely and efficiently


• Feeding materials into machines and removing finished products


• Operating a counterbalance forklift to move materials and stock


• Carrying out basic machine checks and reporting faults


• Performing quality checks to ensure product standards are met


• Maintaining a clean, safe, and organised work area


• Supporting wider production and warehouse activities as required

Requirements

• Valid Counterbalance FLT licence (essential)


• Previous experience operating production/manufacturing machinery


• Strong understanding of health & safety in a factory environment


• Willingness to learn new machines, processes, and skills


• Good attention to detail and a proactive attitude


• Reliable, punctual, and able to work well as part of a team
