Job summary

Wolseley, including its Fusion Utilities division in Chesterfield, is seeking an Operations Assistant to join our warehouse team. The role involves picking/packing orders, stock handling, and maintaining safety standards in a busy warehouse environment.

We require a counter balance forklift license, a driving license, and proven warehouse experience. Reach truck and D2 license are a plus. The position offers a full-time contract and benefits under the Wolseley group.

Responsibilities

• Picking and packing customer orders with accuracy and efficiency
• Carrying out general warehouse duties, including booking in stock, putting deliveries away into designated locations and maintaining high standards within the warehouse
• Ensuring the warehouse is health and safety compliant at all times

This is a full-time, permanent role working 40 hours per week Monday to Friday on weekly rotating shift patterns. The shifts are as follows: 6.00am - 3.00pm, 8.00am - 5.00pm and 11.00am - 8.00pm.
