Job summary

Fusion Utilities, part of the Wolseley Group, is hiring an Operations Assistant in Chesterfield. You will pick and pack orders, manage stock, and uphold safety standards in a busy warehouse environment.

The role is full-time, 40 hours per week, on rotating shifts, with a competitive salary, bonus potential and a strong benefits package including pension and healthcare. A counter balance forklift license is essential.

Qualifications

• Experience in warehouse operations and order picking/packing.
• Forklift and license requirements are essential for this role.
• Reach truck license and D2 license desirable to support warehouse tasks.
• Experience using a Warehouse Management System (WMS) is desirable.
• A valid driving license is essential for site duties.

Responsibilities

• Picking and packing customer orders with accuracy and speed.
• Carrying out general warehouse duties, including stock reception and put-away.
• Maintaining health and safety standards within the warehouse.

As an Operations Assistant based in Chesterfield you'll be responsible for:

• Picking and packing customer orders with accuracy and efficiency
• Carrying out general warehouse duties, including booking in stock, putting deliveries away into designated locations and maintaining high standards within the warehouse
• Ensuring the warehouse is health and safety compliant at all times

This is a full-time, permanent role working 40 hours per week Monday to Friday on weekly rotating shift patterns. The shifts are as follows: 6.00am - 3.00pm, 8.00am - 5.00pm and 11.00am - 8.00pm.
