Gill Cooke Personnel Ltd T/A The Recruitment Group are recruiting on behalf of our client in Rothley for a Warehouse Operator with a valid FLT licence. The role sits in a busy manufacturing warehouse, requiring reliable, motivated individuals who can handle forklift tasks and maintain high safety standards.

You will move pallets, load vehicles, and help with stock control, working Monday to Friday, 2:00pm to 10:00pm, 37.5 hours per week.

Qualifications

• Valid FLT Licence is essential.
• Previous warehouse experience required.
• Good attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to work effectively within a team.
• Commitment to health and safety procedures.
• Reliable and motivated with a positive work ethic.

Responsibilities

• Move pallets safely around the warehouse and store them correctly.
• Manage warehouse operations according to procedures and work instructions.
• Prepare loading areas in line with loading schedules.
• Load vehicles when required.
• Operate forklift trucks and other handling equipment safely.
• Complete all required documentation accurately.
• Identify and report damaged products or quality issues.
• Carry out daily equipment checks and report faults.
• Maintain equipment per company procedures.
• Assist with stocktaking and optimise storage space.
• Work closely with warehouse and production teams.
• Maintain high housekeeping standards throughout shifts.
• Follow all Health & Safety procedures.
