Job summary

GI Group is hiring an FLT/General Warehouse Operative (Counterbalance/Reach) for a busy warehouse operation located in WA5 7TP. The role combines Counterbalance/Reach FLT driving with general warehouse duties to ensure orders are prepared accurately and on time.

HOURS are Monday to Friday, 08:30-17:00 with breaks. This is an ongoing/permanent role for the right candidate, with a competitive hourly pay and long-term opportunities within the group.

Qualifications

• Counterbalance and Reach FLT licence (in-date)
• Experience in a similar FLT/warehouse role
• Able to read a pick sheet with strong attention to detail
• Reliable, safety-conscious and a good team player
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and willing to take on all warehouse tasks

Responsibilities

• Counterbalance and/or Reach FLT safely to move stock, pallets and materials
• Picking and preparing orders using a pick sheet
• Loading/unloading vehicles where required
• General warehouse duties including palletising, wrapping, labeling and stock movement
• Maintaining good housekeeping standards and working to health & safety procedures
• Supporting the wider team to meet daily targets and deadlines

Pay: £13.50 per hour

Hours: Monday to Friday, 08:30-17:00

Breaks: Morning & afternoon break + 30-minute unpaid lunch

Contract: Ongoing role, permanent position for the right candidate
