ctrg are recruiting for FLT Drivers (Reach and/or Counterbalance) on behalf of our industry-leading client who has opened a brand-new Fulfilment Centre in Barnsley. Temp to Perm + ongoing, with the opportunity to become a permanent member of the team.

Pay rates are £13.98 (Days) and £14.91 (Twilight) per hour, with a minimum of 40 hours per week and full training provided. You will operate reach and/or counterbalance trucks, use RF scanners and the WMS to move and record stock, and join a

• Valid in-date licence for reach and/or counterbalance trucks (RTITB, AITT, ITSSAR or NPORS).
• Experience operating reach or counterbalance trucks in a warehouse or distribution setting.
• Comfort working at height in a high-bay racking environment.

Responsibilities

• Operate reach trucks to put away and retrieve stock at height in racking.
• Move goods accurately between goods-in, storage, picking and despatch areas.
• Use RF scanners and the WMS to record stock movements and replenish pick faces.
• Check your truck before every shift and report any faults or damage.
• Follow health and safety procedures and keep your work areas clean and clear.
• Work with the wider team to hit daily productivity and accuracy targets.

Hours:

• Days 6am or 7am or 8am or 9am start (5 from 7)
• Twilight 5pm or 6pm (5 from 7)
• Minimum of 40hrs a week + additional hours if required
• No previous picking + packing experience required - full training provided
• Potential opportunity to move into a permanent position
• Be part of a friendly, fast-paced team

The Role

As a FLT Driver your duties will include:

• You'll operate both or either a Reach and or Counterbalance trucks to move, store and load goods safely and on time.

• Use RF scanners and the WMS to record stock movements and replenish pick faces

Requirements

• A valid in-date licence for reach and or counterbalance trucks (RTITB, AITT, ITSSAR or NPORS)
• Proven experience on either truck types in a warehouse or distribution setting
• Confidence working at height in a high-bay racking environment
• A strong focus on safety and attention to detail
• Experience using RF scanners or a WMS (desirable)
