Job summary

Faserbeton UK Ltd is hiring a FLT Driver / Yard person to join our site in Stafford. You will load and unload materials, move stock around the yard, and keep the site tidy. A valid external Counterbalance licence is essential, and you will have 40 hours per week, with a 30-minute unpaid break, at an hourly rate of £16.50.

The role starts ASAP and requires reliable, punctual, and hands-on individuals who can work safely on site and support ongoing operations.

Qualifications

• Valid external Counterbalance FLT licence is essential.
• In-house FLT licences will NOT be accepted.
• Previous Counterbalance experience.
• Hands-on, varied role.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload materials and pallets.
• Move stock around site and keep areas tidy.
• Supervise unloading of sand and cement.
• Operate a counterbalance forklift safely and efficiently.
• Maintain housekeeping and site organisation.

FLT Driver / Yard person

The successful candidate MUST have been driving a Counterbalance FLT for a minimum of 30 hours per week for the last 6 months.

The ideal candidate will have similar experience and in date valid counterbalance licence.

Start date is ASAP

General duties

• Loading and unloading various types of materials
• Loading pallets of concrete bars,
• Moving stock and materials around site
• Housekeeping daily cleaning of the site.
• Supervising unload sand / cement.
• Operating a Counterbalance Forklift safely and efficiently
• Keeping the site clean, tidy and organised

Hours / Pay

• 40hrs per week (1/2 hour unpaid break per day) 40hrs paid per week
• Monday to Friday 8am-4.30pm
• £16.50 per hour

What we're looking for:
